Looks like a great , real world adventure bike that does not weigh 500-600 pounds. Direct shot at KTM :rolleyes

I see utter beauty. When you drop this thing, it only looks better.

The silhouette is so KTM or Dakar Rally styling for sure. It actually looks cool.

I recently rode the FZ07 thru old Los Gatos Road to Coalinga...plenty of power for me.

Compared to a real dirt bike, it looks a bit unwieldy.

If the frame and motor are up to some abuse then it could be a pretty nice bike to own.

It could be a fun Sheet Iron bike.

It all depends on weight from the factory. It won't be a dirt bike by any stretch of the imagination, but still could be a fun dual sport.

A midsize twin, dirt worthy, D/S? Its more of a dirtbike than an F800GS and better streetbike than a 690.
At least thats the way I see it.

It will also be cheaper to own and fix...

It's an XT650 for this century!

Which means it probably won't ever make it to the US.

Aprilla already has done this, but it was much more dirt worthy. KTM has a comparable engine in a single as does Husqvarna, Honda, Kawasaki, and Suzuki.
