    My cousin in Santa Barbara, CA bought this bike and took delivery at the 2002 Laguna Seca WSBK race. I have ridden it and it is unlike any Guzzi I have ever ridden with ample power and 250 race bike handling. Very flickable.
    I think it may be the only one imported into California.

    Awesome bike!

    However, I think this is just GB's new nomenclature for what they've called their "SuperTwin" for some time. While not common, they have been around for some time. In fact, there are two on eBay right now... a great black and svelte silver one :ride

    But if you really want to see a great GB, check out our buddy Zeb's Daytona engined GB prototype, the only one of it's kind. It is stunning.

    I think you're right about the Supertwins connection because the Folgore has the exact same bodywork. The differences are the color scheme and the gold OZ wheels I think. The Folgore model was very limited production.

    Differences with the Folgore

    Just spoke with my cousin about the differences between his bike and the SuperTwin.

    The Folgore has:
    * OZ "Ghezzi-Brian" custom wheels
    * Race tuneable exhaust system
    * Different chip
    * Ohlins shock

    According to the Importer there are only two Folgores in the US.
    I have heard that there are 23 SuperTwins in the US.

    ...hrmm, interesting.... I didn't know that. Well, learn something new every day! :thumbup

    Zeb, who has the bike in the photo above, is having lunch with Ghezzi in the next month or so, so we may have some new insight into new models, and the MGS-01 street versions.

    The Ghezzi Brian rides again. After many years in the garage it is now registered, insured and ready to ride!
